What Is NUCCA?
NUCCA
NUCCA stands for National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association. NUCCA is a sophisticated, advanced specialized technique in Chiropractic. With no cracking, popping or manipulating, the method focuses on properly aligning the body using a precise yet gentle correction to the upper neck.
The Upper Neck
The Upper Neck is the gateway to messages to and from the brain.
These messages are carried via the Nervous System that controls
and coordinates all functions of the body, from the most basic to
the most complex. It is no wonder the Nervous System is called, the
body's Master Control system.
Pressure of the Atlas on the brainstem causes an interference to nerve
flow to and from the brain. The upper neck is a sensitive location that
when messages are interrupted due to a misalignment in that area,
the body loses its optimum function and sets the stage for serious
health problems for all parts of the body to arise.
When the body is balanced, there
is no stress or tension on the brain stem. This allows communications between the brain and body to travel back and forth unimpeded, promoting maximum health and healing.
